How it All Begun

I am Karen, author of the children’s book series, Abigail’s Dream Adventures, and have won the Making History Gala Award. I am a Co-Producer with Powerkids Entertainment and writer of the upcoming series Abigail and the Dream Adventurer. I now write scripts and design products for my own companies ADA Group Holdings Limited, Bermuda, and Dream Tales Inc., Canada.

My passion for creative thinking and writing was nourished by bedtime stories my mother read to me. The stories and illustrations were evocative and they captured my imagination. I started writing glorious stories in primary school. At that time, I often visited my grandmother, who had National Geographic magazines. For me, they were full of adventures, and I always wanted to meet other kids of different ethnicities in those magazines.

Mission

Our mission is to make education a right, not a privilege — to inspire children everywhere to dream boldly, embrace learning, and see beauty in one another. Through inclusive stories and creative literacy initiatives, we aim to bridge racial divides and nurture a generation that believes in the power of understanding.

Vision

My aim is to create fully interactive and global teaching IP, designed to be proactive in the early engagement of children with a worldwide message of acceptance and inclusion.

Story

I am grateful to my mother’s stories and my grandmother for her support to learn. Growing older, I began to look at each move as an opportunity for learning. That was when I traveld across Canada and lived in many provinces. I did not want to lose those moments so I cuptured them; thus my stories and Abigail were born. I love Abigail, a clever little girl who wants to travel and meet other kids from different ethnicities.

Through every story I write, I hold onto one belief: that every child, no matter where they come from, deserves the chance to dream — and to see that dream reflected in the pages they read. Writing, for me, is not simply about putting words into books; it’s about planting seeds of understanding, bridging divides, and celebrating the wonder of difference.

My work is guided by a simple truth — that learning is a right, not a privilege, and that stories can be the bridge between hearts. At the core of my brand is “an appreciation of you” — a universal language that crosses borders, connects children, and reminds us all that we belong to one beautiful human family.
